Final Fantasy, Bowery Ballroom, Sunday 11/11

Hi, gang. I have a very limited number of tickets to see Final Fantasy (aka Owen Pallett) on Sunday night, 11/11, at Bowery Ballroom. Doors open at 7 (though we'll eat dinner first and arrive around 8). There are two opening acts. More information on the openers here.

You may know Final Fantasy's albums (including his most recent, the wonderfully named He Poos Clouds), or perhaps you know Pallett's orchestration work for the Arcade Fire or
Hidden Cameras. He performs a melodramatic brand of chamber pop using a violin (sometimes keyboards, harpsichord, or piano as well) and foot pedals to create intricate looped soundscapes over which he sings. Trained in opera composition, he brings together traditional chamber forms and instruments with pop stylistics -- and plenty of references to Dungeons and Dragons.
