Downtown Scenes Stream

Dinner-Meeting & Screening of "Dark Days"

Tuesday, February 19th @ 8pm

Broome Room

Come out for a sushi dinner in Broome Room and chat about our stream--where we are, what events are upcoming, and where you'd like to see us go.

After out conversation, we'll watch DARK DAYS (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0235327/), the 2000 film by Mark Singer about a group of people living in the New York City subway tunnels. Hauntingly shot using mostly 16mm donated (and often damaged) film, and featuring a score by DJ Shadow, the movie provides a powerful vision of this unique "downtown"community.

RSVP to Ana Christa (anachrista@nyu.edu) so we are sure to order enough California rolls!
