Avon Breast Cancer Walk!

Join FFiR Stephanie Smith-Waterman, HIV/AIDS activists God's Love We Deliver, and fellow Broome Residents to provide refreshments and encouragement to participants in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. This is an annual service event; past participants have found it extremely moving. And the walkers welcome our treats and good cheer!

We'll meet in the lobby Saturday morning, Oct. 4, at 7:50 am. We'll leave around 8:00 and be finished by 10. It's early, but it's worth it! Send questions to ssw228@nyu.edu

Our goal for next year is to sponsor our own team of walkers. If you have interest in working on this project, or on any other Broome service initiatives, please come to one of our organizing meetings. The next one's tonight -- Wednesday the 1st -- in the Broome Room at 8:00 pm.
