Hey folks: a reminder that Downtown Scenes and Downtown Book Club are meeting Sunday night, the 8th, to discuss the next installment of chapters from Timothy Gilfoyle's A Pickpocket's Tale, a story of the criminal underworld in our neighborhood a century+ ago.
For this discussion we'll be reading chapters 4-10.
Those who started this discussion with us last semester should have received a copy of the book before winter break; if you're interested in joining in-progress, you can pick up the book on your own and present a receipt to me for reimbursement.
We'll be meeting at 7 pm in the Broome Room. Food served.
