"No two boys, no two boyhoods are the same.” A Reading in the West Village, plus a book giveaway

This week FFiRs Brad and Jo invite you to join them for a reading at West Lives bookstore on Tuesday evening. Ken Corbett will be discussing and reading from his new book, BOYHOODS: RETHINKING MASCULINITIES.

Corbett is a Clinical Professor at NYU’s Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis program and his book argues for a new psychology of masculinity. Judith Butler, eminent gender theorist, says that Corbett’s new book “teaches us how to think gender again.”

Meet Brad and Jo at the Three Lives bookstore (154 W 10 Street) on Tuesday (29th) at 6.45pm. The first five Broomies to arrive will receive a copy of Corbett’s book.
