This Sunday morning I'll be joining the downtown blogger Teri Tynes to lead a pilgrimage to Herman Melville's grave in Woodlawn Cemetery (in The Bronx). No prior experience with Melville required, though fans can bring along something you want to read at the grave. (The anniversary of his death is in a couple days, on the 28th.) More on Melville here. We'll meet in the lobby to depart at 10 am.
