Join Professor Waterman Sunday, Nov.7, at 7 pm, in Apartment 712, for a discussion with Eva Talmadge and Justin Taylor, editors of THE WORD MADE FLESH: LITERARY TATTOOS FROM BOOKWORMS WORLDWIDE, recently published by HarperCollins. We'll be talking about the relationship between tattoos and literature, the mainstreaming of tattoos in American life, the performance aspects of wearing someone's words (or other literary references) on your own flesh.
