Now that November is here, the holidays are fast approaching and the BRC, a housing program for the homeless, is gearing up for lots of events and projects. Most notably, Thanksgiving is just a few short weeks away, so if you have put any thought into volunteering that day or the days preceding, now is the time to sign up. Please take a moment and review the following Thanksgiving-specific volunteer needs:

Shift II Time: 2:30pm to 4:30pm (no meal service – only social activities, raffle and Bingo games)

Please bear in mind that the start times are fixed and cannot be changed. All shifts are first come, first served. All positions will entail dining room set-up and possibly decorating, light meal preparation, dinner service and post meal clean up. Of course, all volunteers will be encouraged to sit down and enjoy dinner with the BRC residents!
