Hey Broomies!
Remember when you were younger and got sick, how good it felt to receive a home-made get well card from your friends?
Well, "Mighty" Max, a 6th grade boy from Indiana would love to get a 1,000,000 of these cards!
Max has been fighting Leukemia since he was 6 years old, and is part of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. His original wish was to go to Disney World, but since he was too weak during treatment, he made a new wish to receive 1,000,000 get well soon cards! So far he has about 250,000!
Come make a card Sunday May 1st from 3-7 PM in the Broome Room to help Max get his wish! Markers and paper will be provided, but feel free to bring anything creative to put on the cards :)

Community Service with Children!
Hippo Playground Spring Fair at Riverside Park
What: Help raise money for the playground while helping children bake cupcakes, play mini-golf or create arts and crafts.
When: Sunday, May 1st
Shifts: 9:45AM-1:00PM & 12:45PM-4:00PM [One shift counts as a community service event]
Meet in the lobby at 8:45AM to go as a group. Those who want to do the latter shift may come on their own.
