Stitch n' Give reconvenes this SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 10 from 3:00pm-6:00pm at Apt 412 (FFiR Michelle Dent’s Apt).
Are you looking forward to seeing old friends, and making new ones? Then come on by Apt. 412, to say hello, to grab a bite to eat, and to knit a while. No experience or materials required.
Also: Stitch n’ Give
is currently asking for handmade knit and crochet items to be donated
to our Broome-Detroit Silent Auction GALA that will take place at the
end of February and beginning of March. Hats, scarves, tote bags,
sweaters, work your magic, show some Motown love!
Join us to see why this group is the PERFECT antidote to Sunday afternoon stress!
"Tea Time" refreshments will be served!
Stitch & Give
is an ongoing program that connects knitters (and aspiring knitters)
with communities in need. Beginners typically knit squares to be sent
out to military veterans and homeless people through Warm Up America.
Advanced knitters can wow us with your talents and teach us some new
tricks!
Please contact Michelle Dent (michelle.dent@nyu.edu) for more information.
