The fall term is coming to an end and the Faculty Fellows and I are sponsoring venues where members of the Residential College community can complete their 'Symposium' requirements. Below you will find additional information in terms of how to complete the Symposium.
What is a 'Symposium':
The Residential College Symposium is an opportunity for residents to share their scholarship and/or creative works with others. Scholarship and creative works includes science research, poetry & creative writing, piece of a screenplay, a political analysis, a review of the humanities, a short video, or a creative visual art (pottery, collage display, drawing, painting, etc).
When is the Symposium?:
Residents will have the option of presenting their scholarship or displaying creative works in person on Sunday afternoon, December 9
OR
Residents can participate in a virtual venue by posting a written piece or video on the blog. Please email me your submission (at LL56@nyu.edu) and it will be posted
How to get involved:
Email Luke LaCroix (LL56@nyu.edu) with your interest, your Symposium project, and whether you wish to participate in-person or through the virtual venue by Monday, December 3
Who Should Participate?:
Students electing to participate in the Symposium track (as opposed to the student lead discussion). Students studying abroad must participate this semester and any other students would like to complete the requirement before the spring semester
