Hey Broomies,On Saturday, November 13th at 8:30 AM, I will be leaving from the Broome lobby with a group of Broomies to plant trees in Far Rockaway! This event is part of the green initiatives that are coupled with NYUnplugged and Green Apple Week, and the good news is that it also counts as a community service requirement! Although you can definitely show up on Saturday morning, if you RSVP by Wednesday, November 10th at 10PM, I can also guarantee that you will get a nifty T-Shirt! (You will probably still get one even if you just show up, so no worries). I will be providing some local apples bought at the Union Square Greenmarket and some vegan granola bars in the morning. Please come and support sustainability at Broome Street and in New York City!
