Sunday, October 28, 11am to 1pm (Broome 412): Art Gala and Stitch 'n Give WAFFLES BRUNCH
Join us at Gallery 412 to see the new Art exhibit, to meet featured artist Jen Kinney and special guest Alaska historian Ross Coen, and to EAT yummy waffles for brunch! (We may even Skype with the Watermans in Abu Dhabi!)
Stitch n' Give, Broomes' knitting community service program, will meet from 1:00 to 4:00pm, immediately following the brunch. So stick around, if you feel like it, and learn how to make cool textile art!

Jen Kinney weaves together portraits, environments, and stories to
illuminate a corner of America that's infamous in Alaska, and foreign in
the Lower 48. Not the most beautiful town in Alaska, nor the smallest,
nor the most remote, nor even truly the strangest, but a town loved,
loathed, hidden, and sought after, anything but easy to forget.
