MillionTreesNYC Planting Event at Van Cortlandt Park

Love trees? Adore the great outdoors? Reforestation is one of 127 initiatives launched by Mayor Bloomberg as part of PlaNYC to make New York City greener and more sustainable by 2030. It is also a key component of MillionTreesNYC, providing over one-third of the total trees to be planted in the campaign by 2017. Join MillionTreesNYC and fellow volunteers to make New York City greener and greater, by volunteering to help plant 20,000 trees at parks citywide! Saturday, October 27 We will meet in the Broome lobby at 7:30am to take the subway up to Van Cortlandt Park.
